Ramen - Tio

Privacy

Effective September 24, 2026

RAMEN-TIO is a small arcade game made by Sean Even. This page explains, in plain language, what the game does with information. The short version: it has no accounts, it does not know who you are, and the only things that leave your phone are the arguments you type (so the AI can answer them) and the standard signals an advertising SDK uses.

What stays on your device

Your wins, losses, achievements, settings, and whether you have purchased the ad-free Patron option are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded to us. Deleting the app deletes them.

Your arguments go to the AI

When the game is online, each plea you type — together with the current game state and the earlier turns of that game — is sent to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate Ramen-tio’s reply. This is how he responds to what you actually said. Our server does not store your pleas; it keeps only routine technical logs (timestamps and error messages). Anthropic processes the text under its own privacy policy. Please don’t type anything into the game you wouldn’t want sent to an AI service. When the game is offline it uses built-in lines and nothing is sent anywhere.

Ads

The free version shows ads between games and an optional rewarded video after a loss, served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location, and usage signals to select and measure ads, as described in Google’s advertising policy. On iOS the app asks for permission before any cross-app tracking; if you decline, you still get ads, just less personalized ones. Patrons (see below) see no ads and the ad SDK is never started for them.

Purchases

“Patron of the Broth” is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any of your devices from the Patron screen.

Children

RAMEN-TIO is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
